Duration: 1 hour

 

Vendor Provides:

  • Content creation (content may be commercial in nature)
  • DUE 45 DAYS PRIOR to webinar date: webinar title, 3-5 learning objectives and a one (1) sentence summary of your webinar, link to online registration page or page on your website that contains the registration link (speaker photos/bios, full description and additional information should live there), contact name, phone and email for registration questions, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn handles.
  • Webinar hosting/presentation
  • Webinar software and recording (link to recording should be sent to jstasch@ucaoa.org within 45 days of webinar)
  • Webinar evaluation, follow up
  • Any promotion outside of UCA promotion
  • Link/File for archived webinar back to UCA after “live” date

UCAOA Provides:

  • 2 emails to entire UCAOA database promoting webinar (The first email will be sent at the end of the month prior to your webinar and the second will be sent a few days preceding your webinar - most webinar registrations come from this second email.)
  • 2 mentions of webinar in UCAccess eNewsletter (dates at UCA discretion)
  • UCAOA social media mentions (at UCA discretion) will take place in the 2 weeks prior
  • Listing on UCAOA.ORG website calendar of events, which is displayed on homepage
  • All promotion will have UCA Online Education “look,” but will contain presenting company’s branding
  • UCA will offer this webinar (complimentary) after the “live” date

Tips and Tricks:

  • Be mindful of the length of your session  (45 minutes of content with 15 minutes for Q&A seems to work well, and most people are able to carve out an hour from their day)
  • Keep your content informative and educational. (People tend to ‘tune out’ if they sense a sales pitch.) Provide take-aways and/or best practices; good way to have a repeat attendee.
  • Avoid simply reading your slides.  Make them your ‘talking points’ so that you expand on them live.  (This keeps their attention since they cannot see all of your information on the screen.)
  • If you have a Q & A session, allow ample time and offer to follow-up offline if questions are not answered.
  • Although your content may be commercial in nature, we encourage you to provide as much unbiased educational content as possible. 
  • Two IPWs may be available in any given month, based on topic

 

 

Payment is due Net 15 from date of invoice. IPWs are limited to one per company until March 1, 2018. If after March 1, 2018, there is availability, a company may purchase one additional IPW in 2018.

There is no refund for cancelled IPWs. If you need to change your webinar date, UCA may be able to accommodate that request. If an acceptable date cannot be found, a 50% refund will be made.
