Take the Next Step in Your Urgent Care Management Career

Earning your UCMC certificate takes commitment, but our training program is flexible to accommodate your busy schedule [download brochure]. Here is a list of the UCMC Core Competencies.   

3 Program Options:

  1. Pay as You Go | $200 member / $395 non-member: If you've attended a UCAOA live event in the past 12 months, apply the course work you have completed and, if needed, fulfill the remaining credits online by attending another UCAOA live event.
  2. Online Bundle | $1,600 member / $2,400 non-member: The UCAOA Online Education library offers the UCMC Bundle (this will also outline the number of credits needed in each content area), which includes the application fee and all of the courses needed to complete the program. Courses offer UCMC credit are denoted.
  3. Group Rates | 3 + members/$975 each: Register and pay for 3 or more UCAOA members to receive the Online Bundle. Price discount is a $625 savings per member [learn more]. Download the application below for each applicant and submit to ucmc@ucaoa.org.

1. Get Started 

Already Completed Course Work

Submit any course work from the past 12 months that you would like to apply toward earning your certificate. Email ucmc@ucaoa.org and explain the courses you have attended. Please note it is not necessary to have completed any courses before applying. You will receive an enrollment confirmation from UCA, which will include instructions on taking the exams for the previous course work.

2.  Learn

Earn the 40 required hours of credit by attending UCA conferences, completing sessions from the Online Education library and participating in live UCA practice management webinars.

3. Test

For each course that you complete, you will log in to the Online Education library and complete a multiple choice test to verify course completion.

4. Finish

Your progress is tracked and managed by UCA. Once you've completed your 40 hours in the required disciplines, you will earn your Urgent Care Management Certificate (UCMC). You have 3 years to complete the program once your application is accepted by UCA.
