If you are interested in a date please contact Jackie Stasch, Director of Corporate Relations, at 331-215-6063 or at jstasch@ucaoa.org. $500 non-refundable deposit will be required to secure a webinar. Payment in full is due Net 15 from date of invoice to secure webinar date. There is no refund for cancelled webinars. If you need to change your webinar date, UCA may be able to accommodate that request. If an acceptable date cannot be found, a 50% refund will be made. This opportunity is subject to change.


Vendor Responsibility

  • Content creation (content may be commercial in nature)
  • DUE 3 weeks prior to webinar date: time of webinar and time zone, webinar title, 3-5 learning objectives and a one (1) sentence summary of your webinar, link to online registration page or page on your website that contains the registration link (speaker photos/bios, full description and additional information should live there), contact name, phone and email for registration questions
  • Webinar registration
  • Webinar hosting/presentation
  • Webinar software and recording (URL for download should be sent to Jackie Stasch within 30 days of the webinar)
  • Webinar evaluation, follow up
  • Any promotion outside of UCA promotion


UCA Responsibility

  • At least 2 emails to entire UCA database promoting webinar (1x the week prior at UCA’s discretion, 1x the Monday of the webinar week - most webinar registrations come from the emails send the week OF your webinar)
  • At least 1 mention of webinar in UCAccess eNewsletter (in order for the webinar to be included in the 2 issues before your webinar, UCA must have all content five (5) weeks prior)
  • UCA social media mentions, x2, (at UCA discretion) will take place in the 2 weeks prior
  • Listing on UCAOA.ORG website calendar of events and listed under education
  • All promotion will have UCA Online Education “look,” but will contain presenting company’s branding
  • Webinar will be available in the Solution Theater archive. It is your responsibility to send an updated URL for download access – use this as an additional lead generator.


Tips and Tricks

  • Historically, UCA has offered webinars at 1 pm CST, but you can offer them at any time of the day.
  • Be mindful of the length of your session (30-45 minutes of content with 15 minutes for Q&A seems to work wellr day)
  • Keep your content informative and educational. (People tend to ‘tune out’ if they sense a sales pitch.)
  • Provide take-aways and/or best practices; good way to have a repeat attendee.
  • Avoid simply reading your slides. Make them your ‘talking points’ so that you expand on them live. (This keeps their attention since they cannot see all of your information on the screen.)
  • If you have a Q & A session, allow ample time and offer to follow-up offline if questions are not answered.
  • Although your content may be commercial in nature, we encourage you to provide as much unbiased educational content as possible.
