COVID-19 Urgent Care Worker Vaccination Playbook

UCA has been assisting some local health departments with planning vaccine rollout as part of our efforts to ensure all urgent care workers have access to COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.  CUCM, UCF, NERUCA and CALUCA have been key players in this work as well. Based on what we're seeing so far, we assume most local health departments need help in planning. To help them, we've developed a Vaccine Playbook recommendation for their use and we are sending it to the states. BUT - We could use your help getting it into the right hands ASAP. Please download a copy and share locally!

Serve on your State’s COVID-19 Vaccination Administration Committee:

UCA has been working with the CDC and all 50 states to help identify urgent care centers that can rapidly deploy and administer the COVID-19 vaccine upon FDA approval. Each state has submitted its vaccination administration plan to the CDC. Right now, Vaccination Task Forces and other committees are being created for each state to plan for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccination when approved. If you have any additional questions, please contact UCA's Chief Development Officer Kim Youngblood.

Contact the COVID-19 point person in your state to serve on the Vaccination Task Force.
