The Urgent Care Association developed the Urgent Care Management Certificate (UCMC) training program as a way for forward-thinking urgent care business owners, administrators, operators, and practice managers to obtain the specialized skillset needed for long-term success in clinic management. Earn your UCMC to demonstrate your knowledge and confidently lead an urgent care center to the next level of excellence.

The First Step in Your Urgent Care Management Career

Earning your UCMC certificate has been simplified to make it accessible for those just starting or thinking about urgent care management. The course work is available as a 30 hour online bundle.

Program Options:

Online Bundle | $750 member / $950 non-member: The UCA Online Education library offers the UCMC Bundle (this will also outline the number of credits needed in each content area), which includes the application fee and all of the courses needed to complete the program.
Group Rates | 3 + members/$650 each: Register and pay for 3 or more UCA members to receive the Online Bundle. Email ucmc@ucaoa.org if you are interested in this option.

3 Steps to Getting Your Certificate

Apply Online
Learn/Evaluation Earn the 30 required hours of credit by completing the online bundle. You must pass each quiz with a minimum score of 60%.
Finish Your progress is tracked and managed by UCA. Once you've completed your 30 hours in the required disciplines, you will earn your Urgent Care Management Certificate (UCMC). UCA will mail you a certificate. You have 2 years to complete the program once your application is accepted by UCA.
