 There are best practices to follow when closing the visit and ensuring that patients are educated and armed with the tools they need to get well. Mark Reddinger and his team will cover the best practices in closing the visit at the front desk and the next steps after the visit occurs. Learn about the importance of utilizing patient satisfaction software, patient call backs, and what steps to take to create an exceptional patient experience. Discover more about new service lines, the importance of financial and operational performance metrics, building a solid IT infrastructure, revenue cycle, human resources, staffing, training, handling patient feedback, and the role of the compliance department and how all of these topics play into the closing the visit.

About Our Speaker

Mark Reddinger is the COO of Premier Health. As a key member of the senior leadership team, Mark provides oversight of clinical operations, ensures excellence in patient care, executes consistent and effective organizational priorities, systems, operational policies, goals, and financial performance of over 50 urgent care facilities. Since 2001, Mark served as President and CEO of St. Vincent’s First Care in Jacksonville, Florida - a joint-venture urgent care and occupational medicine company owned in part by St. Vincent’s HealthCare, the Ascension Health NE Florida hospital ministry. Prior to his work with St. Vincent’s First Care, Mark served two years as Regional Director and Interim Chief Operating Officer with Solantic, a large urgent care operator which rebranded CareSpot, based in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time with Solantic, Mark was a board member in urgent care joint ventures with Baptist Health and the University of Florida Health Systems. Prior to entering the urgent care industry, Mark worked for the State of Florida overseeing many licensed occupations including the health care industry in both a regulatory enforcement and disaster response capacity.

CUCMP Credit Information:   This webinar is required as part of the CUMCP program and fulfills the General Operations domain while providing learners the opportunity to earn 1.5 live CUMCP credits (attendance will be verified). The CUMCP program requires that 37 of the 60 credits be live credits. Live credits may be earned through attending webinars and CUCMP sessions at UCA’s annual spring convention and expo. Once verified you will have access to the CUCMP quiz to complete the credit and survey. In order to earn credit, the CUCMP quiz must be passed and the survey completed. You must earn a score of 80% on the quiz and will be given 3 attempts to do so.
