2019 Challenging Accreditation Standards
April 18, 2019

2019 Challenging Accreditation Standards: Thursday, April 18 at 1:00PM CST

The UCA Urgent Care Accreditation is a nationally recognized program for its commitment to safety, quality and scope within the urgent care setting having accredited over 1000 urgent care centers. In many areas of the country, accreditation is now a requirement by major insurance carriers making it necessary for organizations to pursue the accreditation process. This webinar will help de-mystify the UCA standards/expectations that organizations find the most challenging while preparing for their on-site survey or as they maintain compliance post accreditation. We hope you will join us as we share what we have learned from those who have applied before you.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the benefits of understanding the intent of a standard/expectation prior to an on-site survey
  • Recognize the most challenging standards/expectations
  • Identify areas for improvement in your organization’s policies and procedures
  • Distinguish expectations of an initial survey versus re-survey
  • Determine a corrective action plan should your organization receive ‘Action Items’ post survey
