Advocacy

UCA is advocating at the federal and state levels on key health care issues impacting urgent care patients and centers. Be an Advocate and Act Now!
Ask Congress to address COVID-19 point of care testing reimbursement to ensure that all patients have access to the best possible diagnostics.

UCA is Supporting the Urgent Care Clinicians and Staff on the Front Lines

As the largest trade association for the urgent care industry, UCA is actively working to influence members of Congress, state and local legislators and federal regulatory agencies to support important issues impacting the urgent care industry and the patients we serve.   We know that the urgent care industry has been on the front lines with the pandemic and we understand all of the challenges you have faced diagnosing and treating millions of patients since the onset of the pandemic.

2021 – 2023 Advocacy Priorities

(New priorities will be announced in November 2021)

UCA is taking actions to support the industry and quickly respond to top advocacy priorities.  We know that legislative and regulatory policies on COVID-19 and emergency response to the pandemic will continue to impact the industry for years to come.   UCA leadership is evaluating membership surveys, feedback from focus groups and input from key leadership to determine long-term advocacy priorities that will have the greatest impact on industry sustainability and growth.  We will announce these new priorities and strategic plans in the coming months.
