Everyone who registered for the UCA2020 convention AND booked at least a 3-night stay in the room block was entered to win an upgrade to the Lyon Suite at the Paris Hotel, as well as a Diamond card. We’re thrilled to announce that the winner is:
Vice President of Revenue
Pat has been upgraded to the Lyon Suite, a 1,000 square foot luxurious space that offers a whirlpool tub, marble counters, wet bar, and large flat-screen TVs. She will also be a Diamond Card holder, featuring benefits such as priority check-in lines, discounts at casino gift shops, and access to the Diamond Lounge where she can enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails (with a guest!). Congratulations Pat!
In this post, Pat shares why she will be attending UCA2020, and what being part of UCA means to her and her organization:
I have over 30 years of experience in the medical field, but in 2015 I switched over to urgent care for the first time. In 2015 through my company’s association with Experity (Practice Velocity at the time), I became aware of UCA and their annual conferences. I quickly registered for the first conference available. I was delighted to see the wide range of opportunities to boost my knowledge.
Since 2015 I have attended almost all of the annual conferences. The UCA convention offers opportunities to meet other urgent care groups and become friends. Many I talk to between conferences and we often share experiences. I feel comfortable calling and asking their opinions. The networking at UCA events is fantastic. I look forward to the educational sessions and take back information to apply the most current trends and knowledge back to RedMed.
RedMed has been a member of UCA for more than 5 years and we feel that this is an important part of our success, especially the ability to network with other urgent care groups. Personally, I enjoy reading the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM) and being able to go to the UCA website to search for information. Our providers especially enjoy the ability to receive CME credits. When I am in need of information, I can call and be directed to the most effective resource. The people at UCA are all so friendly and helpful.
If someone reading this is considering attending a UCA event or becoming a member, I would highly recommend it and I’d tell them to be prepared to take away a large amount of information. The networking of urgent care companies is a huge asset and one I look forward to each year.
