DOT Repeat Visits for Clearance

Thank you for you participation!

The National Registry requires all medical examiners (ME) performing commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers’ examinations to be trained, tested and certified. This entails understanding fully the medical standards in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and how they relate to the medical demands of operating a commercial motor vehicle. Through this one-day training course, you will obtain the skills necessary to sit for the test to become eligible as a certified ME listed on the National Registry. Topics to be addressed include: the medical examiner’s role, driver medical history and examination, testing, certification, and reporting.
