We do not have confirmed cases at our UC at this time. These have been flu like cases with positive flu tests although there have been confirmed cases in West Virginia.

Anderson SC - 4 y/o previoiusly healthy male with sudden onset cold and within 24 hours fever, cough, tachypnea with resp rate 50-60 and 02 sat 89%- not improved with neb tx - transferred for admit to hospital

we have seen patient with A VIRUS- that does not by ANY means indicated that it is THE specific enterovirus as we have seen NO patients that have needed a referral to the ER for an URI this late summer/fall season- we are loacated in South Carolina

We have been seeing a viral URI for at least 4 weeks now and its incidence seems to be on the rise. It starts with a rhinitis with post-nasal drip, leading to a sore throat and cough. Have seen occasional wheeze but no one that ill. We are in Long Island.
