1. Get Started

Already Completed Course Work

Submit any course work from the past 12 months that you would like to apply toward earning your certificate. Email ucmc@ucaoa.org and explain the courses you have attended. Please note it is not necessary to have completed any courses before applying. You will receive an enrollment confirmation from UCAOA, which will include instructions on taking the exams for the previous course work.

2.  Learn

Earn the 40 required hours of credit by attending UCAOA conferences, completing sessions from the Online Education Library, participating in live UCAOA practice management webinars, and reading certain UCAccess articles.

3. Test

For each course that you complete, you will log into the Online Education Library and complete a multiple choice test to verify course completion.

4. Finish

Your progress is tracked and managed by UCAOA. Once you've completed your 40 hours in the required disciplines, you will earn your Urgent Care Management Certificate (UCMC). You have 3 years to complete the program once your application is accepted by UCAOA.

Watch what your fellow practice management colleague says about his UCMC experience, and see who has earned their UCMC certificate. Will you be next?
