Members may be allopathic or osteopathic physicians holding an active license to practice medicine in the United States or its territories or be actively serving as physicians in the United States Armed Forces. Members must have a significant interest in the practice, teaching or administration of urgent care medicine. Retired physicians - those who are no longer actively practicing and/or have voluntarily allowed their medical licenses to lapse - who have been active Members of UCCOP™may continue to hold active Membership in the organization.
Members of UCCOP™ will receive the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine as part of their membership, as well as reduced fees for annual conventions and conferences and preferred vendor relationships and rates. UCCOP™members can participate in many free or reduced-fee webinars and other educational activities. Members have free website access to clinical resources like consensus statements and practice guidelines. Finally, through the national voice given by UCCOP™, members will help direct the future of the specialty.
Regular membership dues include UCAOA membership, as well.
If you are an existing UCAOA member, you may apply to join UCCOP at any time before your next UCAOA renewal for free, then pay $50 annually, in addition to your UCAOA renewal dues, for continued annual membership in both organizations
If you are an existing UCAOA member, you may apply to join UCCOP at the time of your or your organization's UCAOA renewal, and pay $50 annually, in addition to your UCAOA renewal dues, for continued annual membership in both organizations
If you are not an existing UCAOA member, you may apply for regular UCCOP membership at any time and pay $225 for annual membership in both organizations.
An application for membership is only required at the time of initial application and after a lapse in membership. Those who are renewing their memberships in UCCOP™ do not need to complete an application, unless there has been a change in the information it contains.
