UCAOA conducted an informal survey to obtain a synopsis on the average hourly pay rates for full-time employees in an urgent care center. Of those urgent care centers that participated, 33 percent indicated their pay rate for medical assistants is between $12.01 and $14 per hour while other centers (33 percent) indicated a pay rate between $14.01 and $16 per hour.
