IDEAS OF THE WEEK

Think niche or specialty publications
UCAOA
Niche or specialty publications appeal to a uniquely defined and highly targeted segment in the community. Consider the provided example of the Detroit Auto Scene, which is the oldest, continually distributed free newspaper in the United States, reaching 20,000 employees at Ford, GM, Chrysler and associated vendors on a daily basis. Warren Urgent Care takes advantage of this medium to educate auto workers that its centers are "within two minutes of your plants," accept their health insurance, are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. 365 days a year and provide a mix of urgent care and occupational medicine services.
