We're looking for four clinical ambassadors to volunteer at our 2016 Fall Conference (Sept. 29-Oct. 1, Nashville). Selected candidates can earn free tuition to this event (up to $1,195 value)!

Please note all reimbursements are post-event. This offer is only for UCAOA members due to ACCME guidelines, and this benefit cannot be offered to vendor members. Phone training will be provided prior to the conference for all ambassadors.

Three Ways to Volunteer:

1. Hands-on Clinical Boot Camp Moderator (Pre-conference Course)
  • Must be able to commit to the entire event (Thursday, September 29, 2016)
  • If commitment is met, you will receive 100 percent registration reimbursement post-event
  • Receive an ambassador ribbon, conference tote bag, and in-classroom experience
2. Fall Conference Clinical Moderator
  • Must be able to commit to the full event (Thursday, September 29 through Friday, October 1, 2016)
  • If commitment is met, you will receive 100 percent tuition reimbursement post-event
  • Receive recordings of all sessions/eligible for CME
  • Ability to choose your classroom and session content (Clinical Essentials or Advanced Case-based Clinical Sessions). Please note you will be in that track for the duration of the conference, and selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.)
  • Receive an ambassador ribbon, conference tote bag, and in-classroom experience
3. Hands-on Clinical Booth Camp Moderator (Post-conference Course)
  • Must be able to commit to the half-day course on Saturday, October 1, 2016
  • If commitment is met, you will receive 100 percent tuition reimbursement post-event
  • Receive an ambassador ribbon, conference tote bag, and in-classroom experience

Volunteer Duties Include:

  • Introducing speakers
  • Ensuring sessions start and end on time
  • Take headcounts (via a form) of attendees in each session
  • Serve as a point of contact for UCAOA staff when troubleshooting any classroom issues
  • Cross-checking attendee roster for these sessions
  • Attend morning ‘huddles’ for daily updates or changes
  • Document (via Moderator Form) information on quality of session and any logistical issues encountered
  • Attend phone training session
