UCAOA Ambassador Program: Earn free tuition to the 2016 Spring National Urgent Care Convention (up to a $1,200 value)!

The UCAOA Ambassador Program is an exclusive opportunity for members to be rewarded for their volunteerism at the upcoming Spring Convention (April 17-20, 2016 in Kissimmee, Florida). UCAOA is offering 2 ways to volunteer at the 2016 Spring Convention, and depending on your level of involvement, you can earn up to 100 percent off your tuition (please note all reimbursements are post-event.)  There are a limited amount of openings available, so don't delay!

DEADLINE TO PARTICIPATE IS FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 2016 

This offer is only for UCAOA members due to ACCME guidelines, and this benefit cannot be offered to vendor members. Phone training will be provided prior to the conference for all ambassadors.

2 WAYS TO VOLUNTEER:

1. CLASSROOM MODERATOR

  • Must be able to commit to the entire event (Sunday, April 17- Wednesday, April 20, 2016)
  • If commitment met, will receive 100 percent registration reimbursement (reimbursement is post-event)
  • Receive recordings of all sessions/eligible for CME
  • Ability to choose your classroom and session content (please note:  selection is on a first come, first served basis)
  • Ambassador ribbon, conference tote bag, and in-classroom experience

Duties include:

  • Introducing speakers
  • Ensuring session start and end on time
  • Take headcounts (via a form) of attendees in each session
  • Serve as a point of contact for UCAOA Staff when troubleshooting any classroom issues
  • Attend morning ‘huddles’ for daily updates or changes
  • Document (via Moderator Form) information on quality of session and any logistical issues encountered
  • Attend phone training session

*If serving as a moderator in one of our Hands-on sessions, you will also be responsible for making sure attendees are on the roster for that session.

2. MUSCULOSKELETAL EXAM MODEL 

  • Must be able to commit to the full session on Sunday, April 17th from 9am 12:30pm
  • Must wear shorts, a loose fitting top and easily removable shoes (i.e. flip flops)
  • Be prepared to rotate through each physical exam station
  • If commitment met, will receive 25 percent off registration (reimbursement is post-event)
  • Receive recordings of all sessions/eligible for CME
  • Conference tote bag
  • Attend phone training session
Duties Include:
  • Participate as station model for the duration of the class
