BayCare Urgent Care Announces Leadership Team Expansion

As part of its commitment to provide the highest quality occupational health services, BayCare Urgent Care recently announced two new additions to its leadership team.
Arlene Guzik, DNP, ARNP-BC, FAAOHN, joins BayCare Urgent Care as director of occupational medicine services. Guzik has more than 25 years of experience in occupational health and previously served as assistant medical director and vice president, operations of Lakeside Occupational Medical Centers Inc. in Largo. Guzik received a master’s degree in nursing from West Virginia University and is board certified as an adult nurse practitioner with a specialty in occupational health nursing. Guzik also holds a doctorate of nursing practice degree from Case Western Reserve University. She is a nationally recognized author and leader, specializing in fitness for duty, substance testing, disability management, safety and workers’ compensation.
Guzik’s role will encompass training and mentorship of the BayCare Urgent Care team of health care providers and support staff, while establishing an array of services that will meet the needs of the employers and workers in our community. She will also serve as a content expert to provide guidance to employers related to their occupational health and safety needs.
Christopher Lee, M.D., MSPH, joins BayCare as medical director of occupational medicine services. Lee holds a doctorate from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine and a master’s degree in public health from the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health. His role includes oversight of the care and management of workers’ compensation and fitness for duty cases, as well as providing mentorship and guidance to the BayCare Urgent Care’s team of healthcare providers.
Lee is board certified in occupational and environmental medicine with expertise in occupational health disciplines, including: fitness for duty, workers’ compensation, safety, environmental health, toxicology, and epidemiology.safety, environmental health, toxicology, and epidemiology.
