Emory Healthcare Network partnered with Peachtree Immediate Care and SmartCare Urgent Care, the health system announced Oct. 18.

The urgent care companies are now part of the network, which includes Emory-employed and private practice physicians who together form a single comprehensive care management system.

Staff and physicians at these companies won't be Emory employees, but they will have access to Emory's electronic medical records system.

Peachtree Immediate Care, owned by CRH Healthcare, has 16 urgent care clinics in metro Atlanta and one in LaGrange, Ga. SmartCare Urgent Care has four locations in the city.

The network is also expanding its partnership with MinuteClinic, CVS Health's retail medical clinic, to over 60 locations across metro Atlanta. MinuteClinic has had a relationship with Emory since 2011.
