Take over leadership of one of UCAOA's Online Forums. Start new topic discussions, encourage participation and keep the dialogue flowing. |
State Liaisons

Keep UCAOA members and the urgent care industry up to date on events and legislation happening in your home state that may influence urgent care across the country. Information will be published regularly on the website. (Oklahoma, Colorado and Arizona liaisons already filled!) |
Journal of Urgent Care Medicine Authorship |
Write original articles on the practice of urgent care for the Association's monthly Journal of Urgent Care Medicine. |
UCAOA Newsletter Article Authorship |
Creation of short paragraphs on items of interest to the urgent care community to be shared via the regular UCAOA online newsletters. |

The Membership Committee will identify recruitment opportunities for new members, as well as develop member benefits to better serve and retain our current members. |
Vendor Committee

The Vendor Committee will consist of UCAOA members and current UCAOA sponsors to develop new ways for us to utilize and enhance our existing exhbitor and sponsor relationships. |
Quality Committee

The Quality Committee will discuss clinical quality issues specific to urgent care toward developing clinical quality training and practice standards for the industry. |
Outstanding Achievement Award
NEW! |
The Outstanding Achievement Award Committee will be responsible for presenting recommendations to the Board of Directors for the annual recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award. This award is presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of urgent care in the previous year. The Award is presented during the Annual Conference. |
Academic Committee |
The Academic Committee is charged with development and advancement of the specialty of urgent care medicine. They are closely involved with creating new Fellowship Programs and developing national standards for training in urgent care medicine. |
Urgent Care Awareness Week Committee |
The Urgent Care Awareness Week Committee is responsible for formulating the details of the inaugural Urgent Care Awareness Week event, and developing new methods for recognition in subsequent years to be shared with all urgent care centers. (currently full) |
Benchmarking Committee |
The Benchmarking Committee is responsible for overseeing data collection and information development efforts by UCAOA. This includes working with researchers on the latest survey planning, and developing questions for the new QuickPolls, as well as promotional plans for the survey data when compiled. |
Convention Committee |
The Convention Committee advises on all activities relative to the Annual Convention, including site selection, course development, promotion, exhibitor and social activities. (currently full) |
Accreditation Committee |
The Accreditation Committee is responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting the best Accreditation standards and process for urgent care centers. |
